Collectibles through Auctions-
My wife and I both had good jobs about three months ago. I was a Civil Construction Estimator and my Wife was a Manager for a convenience store. We made good money and had enough to support ourselves and our six Kids (Yes I said Six). New Vehicles, Horses (we live in the Country), Dirt Bikes and Quads, and what ever we felt like doing.
Well as we all know the economy has gone down the toilet and so did our Jobs. No more Construction Jobs, and the store my wife worked at for 15 years decided thay didn t need any more help and could do it on there own. Now what?
I was watching a Infomercial on TV one day and it said that I could make money on Ebay. I had done some buying and selling on there in the past and thought I could do that. After all I collected Action Figures and my wife collected Dolls Right? I orderd this Auctions for Income system and it worked !
Now what do we do when we run out of things to sell from our Collections? And what are all of these fees we have to pay Ebay? Maybe I should just start my own web site? So, we came up with this game plan.
We do storage Auctions! When someone doesn t pay for there storage unit thay Auction off its contents to the highest bidder. To my surprise on my first unit It had a whole foot locker full of old %/Collectible Reel to Reel Tapes. My second Unit had Hand carved figures from Ghana Africa!
The list just keeps getting better and better. I have come across many Collectibles in these units and we have done really well when it comes to finding Antiques, Pop Culture items and Collectibles.
How do I sell off these items and not have to spend a fortune or spending all day listing things like I had to do on Ebay? There are a lot of places on the internet that come loaded with products of there own to sell and that is where I started. I figure I could sell there products, sell my great finds, and only have to spend half the time listing my own stuff from the storage units.
Now what do I do about the big items out of the storage unit s? That is what Craigslist and yard sales are for. So now I have an income from the internet, Cash from the items on Craigslist, and cash from the yard sales. I always save the best small treasures for our website in the hopes people will want unique Collectibles at really cheap prices. My wife seems to think im a little crazy for doing these things and not getting a normal 9-5 job but when the money comes in she has no problem spending it (Ha..Ha..) If you would like to see and or buy some of what we have come up with check out our website www.anscollectibles.com
